Gak & Goop

Today i made Gak with my daughter., While she was fascinated by the "making process" she was not impressed with the end result! We made 2 lots the first following the original "gal" recipe with glue and borax and it didnt work??
I followed it to a T so who knows whats going on there?
The second one we made the old school cornflour and water. Worked perfectly.
But - she wouldnt go near it!
What sort of child loves play doh but not gak?
Gak is awesome.
Iam seriously beginning to doubt this child.
She also hates Nutella?
