Watermelons!!

Yesterday we had a gorgeous package from Sabrina at Makeya - 4 tie dye tshirts! 2 for me and 2 matching ones for Claire! So beautiful!
This morning i set to work making Claires watermelon skirt i had pre bought the fabric for in anticipation of this event.
After some googling i settled in this tutorial from MADE "The Market skirt" I managed to whip it up in an hour and it turned out beautifully if i do say so myself.

The gorgeous matching tights if your wondering came from All about bub and are footless so great for the spring.

And how fortunate granddad just happen to have bought Claire some lovely Red Converses.

Gak & Goop

Today i made Gak with my daughter., While she was fascinated by the "making process" she was not impressed with the end result! We made 2 lots the first following the original "gal" recipe with glue and borax and it didnt work??
I followed it to a T so who knows whats going on there?
The second one we made the old school cornflour and water. Worked perfectly.
But - she wouldnt go near it!
What sort of child loves play doh but not gak?
Gak is awesome.
Iam seriously beginning to doubt this child.
She also hates Nutella?
O_o
Go figure!
